Welcome to my shop! I am the Feltingfarmerlady and live on a small homestead farm in Central Texas with my husband. We are joined by a host of critters including sheep, donkeys, small cows, chickens and the requisite dogs and a cat. Collecting eggs is the favorite pastime when grandchildren come to visit. I specialize in locks, lots and lots of locks from as many sheep breeds I can find. Most fleeces are sourced from USA small farm shepherds as well as some from the UK, again from small farms. Needle felting and spinning are my passion and I have everything you need to get started if you are a beginner or will search for just the perfect unique lock or fiber to make your fiber arts project just the way you imagined. Each fleece is unique and therefore offered in limited quantities. If you see something that speaks to you, I would advise grabbing it before it is gone. International Customers please note: at this time Paypal is the only payment option for international sales. My payment gateway does not support international credit cards. International packages cannot be returned due to complex import rules. I regret any inconvenience. I charge $1 per ounce for custom carding and/or dying. For example, if I dye 2 ounces of Border Leicester you pay the $15.50 fee for 2 ounces of dyed locks plus $2 for the custom dye job. For carding you would pay the actual cost of the fiber plus $1 per ounce for carding. Allergy info: Our dogs hang out with me in my shop where my creations are made. No cats.
