A friend said this about these locks "this must be the hair of the Icelandic Huldufolk or hidden folk which are the elves and trolls and such" that hide in the rugged landscape.I see them as warm and moody and inviting.Some locks are 4-6 inches long with wispy thin guard hairs and some are shorter and quite kinky. There are muted tones of blue, purple, green and gold. All locks are clean and free of most vm.Enjoy!
Against my nature, I dyed something pink. These Boreder Leicester locks are lustrous and long, well defined and pink!There is little vm and locks are nice and soft.What a lovely lock spun yarn these would make!!Enjoy!
Kinky and long, 5 inch staple length, and the perfect color for spring trees and nature/mushroom scapes. Blue Faced Leicester are one of my all time favorites!Great for needle felting or spinning or 2-D wool painting.Note: This batch of fiber is clean and free of most vm and has the feel of lanolin still in the locks.

Such wee and tiny BFL lamb locks... all dyed up for pumpkin tendrils. Locks range in color from bright to pale oranges, sandy brown, pale greens with overtones of red. Locks are 3-4 inches long and have that curly crimpy wee and tiny look we all love. There is some lanolin still left on the fiber.Use for pumpkins of course, witch and goblin hair, 2-D wool paintings with a fall theme....whatever your heart desires!Enjoy!

All sorts of lovely greens with an occasional purple curly kale leaf thrown in.Locks are clean with some vm to pick out, have great lock integrity and have that perfect BFL crimp.
